1. These terms

This website is operated by United Skills, an animation and rigging studio based in Delaware, United States. By browsing this site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

We may update them from time to time. The version published here is the one that applies, and the date above shows when it last changed.

2. The work shown on this site

This site displays animation, rigging and production work carried out by United Skills for clients, studios and rights-holders. It is published here for one purpose: to identify the productions we have contributed to and to demonstrate the nature and standard of our work.

It is displayed for viewing only. Nothing on this site is offered for download, reuse, licensing, redistribution or any other purpose, and no right to use it is granted to anyone by its appearance here.

All characters, titles, logos, trademarks, designs and footage shown remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance on this site is not a transfer or licence of any right, is not a claim of ownership by us, and is not an endorsement of United Skills by those owners. Where a production is named, it is named to describe our contribution to it and nothing further.

Where we have contributed to a production as part of a larger team, our portfolio identifies our own contribution and does not claim credit for work performed by others.

3. What you may not do with it

You may view this site, and you may link to it. You may not copy, download, capture, record, re-upload, redistribute, adapt, republish or make any commercial use of the video, images, animation or design published here.

You may not use any automated means — crawlers, scrapers, downloaders, or similar tools — to extract material from this site, and you may not use the material published here for text or data mining, or to train, fine-tune or evaluate any machine learning or generative model. Our showreel is the product of our clients' investment and our own labour, and it is not a dataset.

You may not attempt to bypass any technical measure protecting the material, nor use the site in a way that disrupts it or interferes with anyone else's use of it.

Short quotation for genuine review, news reporting or commentary is fine where the law permits it and we are identified as the source.

4. Our own material

The design, layout, written copy, branding and code of this site belong to United Skills. The same restrictions in section 3 apply to them.

The United Skills name and mark are ours. Please do not use them to describe a relationship that does not exist.

5. If you hold rights in something shown here

We publish work with care and with the permissions we believe we hold. If you own rights in material appearing on this site and you would like it removed, restricted, re-credited or corrected, write to info@unitedskills.biz and tell us which material and what you would like done.

We will review it promptly and, where the request is well-founded, act on it without argument. We would rather hear from you directly than have you find out about a problem any other way.

6. Enquiries you send us

When you use the contact form we receive the name, email address, telephone number and message you provide, any file you attach, and the date and network address the enquiry came from. We use that to reply to you and to keep a record of the enquiry.

We do not sell it and we do not add you to a mailing list. Attachments are forwarded to our own mailbox and removed from this website's server once delivered. Write to us if you would like an enquiry and its attachment deleted.

Please do not send confidential or unreleased material through the contact form. It is a first point of contact, not a secure channel — tell us what you need and we will arrange a proper route.

7. Unsolicited ideas

If you send us concepts, scripts, designs or proposals we have not asked for, we cannot treat them as confidential and we cannot undertake not to work on something similar. Studios receive a great deal of overlapping material and we will not be placed in a position where an unsolicited email restricts what we may take on.

Nothing in this section affects material exchanged under a signed non-disclosure agreement or as part of a live project.

8. Links to other sites

Where we link to another website, we do so for convenience. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for their content, and a link is not an endorsement.

9. Availability and accuracy

We publish this site in good faith and keep it current, but we do not warrant that it is free of error or that it will always be available. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice.

Descriptions of past work are provided as a portfolio. They are not an offer, a quotation, or a promise of any particular outcome on a future project.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of this site, or from your inability to use it, including lost profits, lost data or business interruption.

If you use this site in breach of section 3, you are responsible for any claim brought against us as a result.

11. General

If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. A delay in enforcing them is not a waiver.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, and the courts of that state have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from use of this site.
